YACHAY

Yachay means “to know” or “wisdom” in Quechua.
It is a way of understanding life through connection, observation, and memory.

Yachay is learned by listening to the land, observing nature, following the stars, and honoring the guidance of rituals and elders.

It lives in experience, in community, and in our relationship with the Earth. We present this principle through the hummingbird (q’inti), sacred messenger between worlds. It reminds us to move with clarity and lightness, to seek truth, and to carry beauty in all that we do.

Through our Ayni native foods and traditional arts, each offering carries a story ~ a living memory. By sharing these gifts, we help keep Yachay alive ~ transmitting the wisdom of the land, the people, and the traditions that sustain life.
